The current U.S. system for prescription medication is fundamentally broken. But it doesn’t have to be. We believe the “quadruple aim” of delivering better health, great experiences for patients and providers, while significantly reducing costs is well within reach. But it’s not going to happen by optimizing the existing system.  

Prescryptive Health is bringing together the best in technology and healthcare leadership to fundamentally redefine the prescription benefit model to help employers, health plans, providers, pharmacies and pharmaceutical companies realize this vision.  


Our Founders

Chris Blackley
Chief Executive Officer
Chris brings more than 20 years of startup and leadership experience to Prescryptive Health. His prior startup in this industry delivered to market the first multi-tenant hosted platform for retail and mail order pharmacies and was recognized as a Visionary in Gartner Group’s Magic Quadrant.
Prior to launching Prescryptive, Chris spent 14 years at Microsoft leading commercial enterprise and public sector licensing in their Worldwide Licensing and Pricing business. Previously Chris led teams in software engineering and cyber security consulting at IBM and Ernst & Young LLP. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University (B.B.A) and Seattle University School of Law (J.D. cum laude).
Kevin Young
Vice-President of Product
Kevin leads Prescryptive’s Product and Operations teams. Prior to launching Prescryptive, during his 20 years at Microsoft he led the redesign and delivery of global supply chain, pricing, and commerce platforms for Microsoft’s $45 billion global commercial licensing business. In his most recent leadership role at Microsoft he was accountable for engineering programs in excess of $100M annually. Kevin is a graduate of University of North Texas.

Debbie Huntington
Chief Sales Officer
Debbie is Prescryptive’s Chief Sales Officer, with over 30 years of senior sales & marketing and executive leadership experience in healthcare. Before joining Prescryptive, Debbie served as Vice President of Sales and Account Management at Group Health driving market strategy, sales, and profitable growth for all lines of business, growing revenue to $3.8 billion with record-breaking growth to 680,000 members. Debbie received her B.A. from Washington State University.
Andrea Pickett
Vice-President of Customer Engagement
As Prescryptive’s Vice President of Customer Engagement, Andrea brings over 25 years of experience leading pharmaceutical and healthcare product innovation, marketing, sales and product contracting. Prior to Prescryptive, Andrea advised Healthcare IT and Biopharmaceutical companies on product launch and marketing for commercial success. Previous experience includes former Executive Vice President of Client Services and Product Innovation at Carena MD, accountable for launching successful telemedicine programs in multi-state health systems and employers. She also served as Director of Marketing at Schering Plough responsible for growing a $5 billion managed care business. Andrea received her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Washington State University and her Masters in Business Administration from Duke University.


Marc Gillette
Chief Technology Officer
As Prescryptive’s Chief Technology Officer, Marc brings 25 years of experience building mission critical data warehousing, finance, and commerce platforms for global businesses. Prior to joining Prescryptive, Marc was accountable for the 1,200-person engineering team building Microsoft’s commerce platform underpinning $5 billion in annual revenue. Marc holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Whitman College.
David Smith
Director of Engineering
David has over 20 years’ experience building and leading software engineering teams delivering global commerce platforms. Before joining Prescryptive David led engineering teams at Mitsubishi, EDS and Microsoft.

Pharmacy and Clinical Team

Richard Lieblich, RPh.
Head of Clinical Services
Rich is Prescryptive’s lead clinician and is responsible for benefit, formulary and clinical services design. Rich is an almost 30-year industry veteran leading both clinical service and population health management organizations. Rich is the former Vice President of Industry Relations for MedImpact where he was responsible for pharmaceutical contracting, therapeutic strategies, and data and trend analysis. His prior experiences include Director of Pharmacy contracting for Blue Shield of California and 15 years with Kaiser Permanente in various management and supervisory roles in community and hospital pharmacy. Rich holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy.
Mike Dutton, RPh.
Head of Clinical Operations
Mike leads Prescryptive’s clinical operations with over 25 years in health insurance and pharmacy operations, compliance, contracting and business development, and clinical services. Most recently prior joining Prescryptive, Mike served as Manager of Clinical Services at Premera Blue Cross. During his tenure at Blue Cross, Mike was accountable for leading initiatives to improve customer experience while addressing the high cost of prescription drugs and trend. As an experienced pharmacist, Lean Six Sigma expert, and business leader, Mike delivered drug spend rates in the single digits in contrast with double digit specialty growth experienced nationally, while ensuring SSAE and HiTrust compliance and meeting NCQA requirements. Mike received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Master of Business Administration from the University of Washington.

Clinical Professor at University of Washington School of Pharmacy. Served as Chair, Pharmacist Workgroup for Blue Cross Blue Shield Association. Director University of Washington School of Pharmacy Clinical Advisory Board.

Steve Shihadeh
Healthcare technology sales leader. Former Chief Commercial Officer and SVP for Caradigm, a GE Healthcare Company. Former GM/VP for Microsoft’s Healthcare and Life Sciences business unit.
Karla Horwitz
CEO, The Horwitz Group and WMP Capital. M&A CFO for 25 years - PlayFab Inc, CFO Advisor, PopCap Games, CFO. Former NW Practice Lead for Arthur Andersen CFO advisory services. Works with companies to prepare for IPO and/or debt or equity transactions.
Marley Gray
